Practice: Child CPR Two Rescuer
Our scene is safe. My gloves are on, my partner's gloves are on, he's got a bag valve mask we'll be using for ventilation versus a rescue mask. Child, child are you alright? there's no response. Child can you hear me? There is still no response to my taps and shouts. At this time we're gonna call a code or activate EMS or if there is a bystander, I am gonna tell him you, in a plaid shirt go call 911 and come back, I might need your help, and if you see an AED bring it with you. I am gonna re-access for normal breathing and a carotid pulse for no more than 10 seconds. There is no normal breathing, and there is no pulse. So, let's begin CPR, one and two and three and four and five and six and seven and eight and nine and ten and eleven and twelve, thirteen, and fourteen and fifteen. Approximately, two minutes of CPR has been in progress, and I am gonna call it a switch and then my partner will switch so that there can be a fresh compressor. Two, and three, and four, and five, and six, and seven, and eight, and nine, and ten, and eleven, and twelve, and thirteen, and fourteen, and fifteen. Okay, I grab the valve bag mask. Speaker 2: One, and two, and three, and four, and five, and six, and seven, and eight, and nine, and ten, eleven, and twelve, and thirteen, fourteen, fifteen.
